I was recently invited to a Facebook group called "Love For Khalid, so get well soon."  I know writing stories about local Chicagoans doesn't always bode well for the Out-of-town readers, but there are some things you just have to do.  Khalid was the promoter and creator of the popular Friday night University Golf Club set in University Park.  Khalid built that party up the way a good promoter is supposed to.  He brought DJ LaVell C over from a failing Razz, he offered free food, he got to know the movers and shakers in the Steppers community, and most imp
