Candi lays her head back in Jabari’s chest and silently sobs a little. Jabari doesn’t say anything, because there is nothing to say. He just slowly rocks her and decides at that moment that he will hold her for as long as she needs him to...

His hand slowly moves up and down her back as Candi begins to moan ever so lightly. Jabari begins to kiss her forehead, each one of her cheeks, her chin and neck. He moves his hand from her back and brings them to the front were he traces her chest with his fingertips. Candi shivers at how electric it feels to be touched and kissed so gently, and wishes that Jabari’s kisses and caresses would never stop. In silence he kissed and caressed everywhere that his hands and lips could reach. Both he and Candi were burning hot with passion and desire. Jabari gently but swiftly slipped Candi out of her dress in an instant. Candi stood before him with every nerve in her body pulsating and filled with desire. She had no shame as Jabari unhooked and pulled down her under garments and hungrily took in the view of her body. He picked her up and laid her on top of his desk and removed both of her shoes, and then began to gently suckle and kiss her all over. Candi was delirious with pleasure, as she hadn’t ever been touched and handled this way before. She felt her temperature rise, as her nature begged for more of what Jabari was dishing out. Candi began to hastily tug at Jabari’s belt buckle.

Meanwhile Mike and Eve are in the car trying to digest what just happened at the club. Mike is seething that Candi did not leave with him, and Eve is jus glad to be out of Candi’s Grip.

Eve: Mike, I really don’t understand what just happened.

Mike: Yeah, me neither. That bitch is crazy.

Eve: Well Mike, I told you that she was not right. I don’t know when you’re going to start listening to me. I’ve been knowing you long enough to know what’s good for you.

Mike: Eve, I ain’t trying to hear that right now. I’m just not in the mood.

Eve: Whatever. I guess when she’s made you loose all your credibility on the set you’ll be alright then.

Mike: Bitch, shut up!

Eve: What?

Mike: My Bad Eve. I didn’t mean that. I’m just tired and little upset right now.

Eve: I understand Mike.

Eve: Can I ask you a question?

Mike: (sigh) What?

Eve: I’m really shaken up. Can you spend a night with me?

Mike: What? Hell Naw!

Eve: Why?

Mike: Because I’m a married man. What the hell do I look like spending a night at your house?

Eve: Oh now you’re a married a man, huh? Well are you a married man when your dipping off in parking lots with Sparkle?

Mike: Look, you just need to mind your business. I aint trying to go there with you!

Eve: (Visibly Hurt) Why? What is wrong with me? I’ve been in your corner more so than anyone. I sell over a hundred tickets for all of your sets. I plug harder than you. I do whatever it takes to make you successful, and you still never give me the respect that I deserve! Every since stupid ass Candi came around you walk around with your head up your ass.

Mike: Get the f@%k outta my car Eve!

Eve: What? You putting me out on the car?

Mike: Get the f^%k outta my car! You ain’t got but a block to walk home and you getting on my damn nerves.

Eve: (Crying) I can’t believe you doing this to me! How can you act like this with me?

Mike pulls over, steps out of the car, and walks over to the passenger side door and opens it.

Eve: Oh, I see how you wanna play me. But guess what Mr. Weathers … Jabari ain’t never gonna let you use his club for the contest now that you done did the fool, and you gone need my help! So you can act up now, but at the end of the day, you gone know who got your back!

Eve gets out of the car and slams the door. She begins walking home undaunted by Mike’s behavior. She’s so used to men disrespecting her that at this point it really doesn’t matter. The one main thing that she wanted to accomplish was to piss Candi off, and now that she did it, she knew that eventually everything else would work out.
