After hanging up the phone, Eve is delighted that she will actually walk in the set arm in arm with Mike. She knows that the gossip mill will start turning as soon as they walk in.  

Eve: (Talking aloud) I just hope that enough people see me get out of the car and walk in with him. I can’t wait for Candi to find out about it. (Giggling) I wonder if there is away that I can ensure that she’ll show up anyway…

Eve picks up the phone to call Sparkle.

Sparkle: Hello

Eve: Hey girl, what you doing?

Sparkle: Hell, I’m getting dressed, what do you think?

Eve: Girl, guess what?

Sparkle: B!tc4, I aint for all that guessing, what do you want?

Eve: Mike told Candi that she couldn’t go to anymore sets!

Sparkle: For real! I bet her dumb ass is going to mind him like he her daddy too.

Eve: (Happy because Sparkle is taking the bait) Right! Well, okay. I just thought that you’d find that interesting. I’ll be there around 7:30, because Mike is picking me up at 7:00.

Sparkle: Mike is picking you up?

Eve: Yes. He is so sweet to me. I told him I didn’t feel like driving, and he insisted that I come and offered to pick me up.

Sparkle: Hmmm, is there something that you want to tell me?

Eve: Nope, nothing at all. I’ve got get ready girl, I see you in a little while.

As usual, Sparkle is mad as hell, and her wheels are turning.

Oh, this b!tc4 has lost her mind and I know Mike don’t think he gonna be getting some from me and Eve? Hell, Eve done been with more niccas on the set than I have and it aint no way I’m going to go behind her nasty ass. Oh hell nall! I gotta put a halt to this shit.

She picks up the phone to dial Candi…

Candi: (Sniffling) Hello.

Sparkle: Candi?

Candi: Yeah?

Sparkle: Get up and get your ass ready!

Candi: Ready for what?

Sparkle: We got a set to go to!

Candi: Girl, I aint going.

Sparkle: Bull shit! You are going!

Candi: What?

Sparkle: You heard me. You are going! I already heard that Mike done tried to put the brakes on you.

Candi: Yes, he did. I was going to go, but maybe I do need to take a break from the set.

Sparkle: Look, you are going and that is final! And you aint wearing none of them old long ass Ke Ke Shepard looking dresses either.

Candi: What are you talking about?

Sparkle: I’m bringing you an outfit, so you just get yo ass in the tub and do your hair and make up, and I’ll be there by 6:30. And where is Mike?

Candi: He left and why are you so adamant about me going?

Sparkle: Because Eve is trying to steal your man and you need to see it!

Candi: What are you talking about?

Sparkle: Just be ready. I want you to see this with your own eyes! (Hangs up on Candi and dials Mike’s number)

Mike: Hello

Sparkle: Hey Daddy!

Mike: What is it Sparkle?

Sparkle: Nothing, just checking on you.

Mike: Checking on me, huh? What are you on girl?

Sparkle: Nothing, just wondering what time I need to be at the party, so that I can get the first dance with you.

Mike: I guess I’ll pull in a little after seven.Sparkle: Well, text me when you make it so I can tell the DJ to put on a jam for us.

Mike: (Laughing) I’ll see what I can do.
